Player Notes

Players/Managers,

We welcome you to the Men's E World Tournament at Space Coast Complex!

Managers have had their meeting and have been emailed Manager Notes.

If any of you may want to read the same notes, I have copied them to the event feed at:

https://www.usssa.com/slowpitch/event_feed/?eventID=402826

I also wanted to highlight some very important information to the players for this event, so there is no confusion. I realize sometimes the managers do not communicate these items the way they should be doing. We want everyone to have a smooth week. You may want to make certain these items have been put in the team group chat.

ALL PLAYERS must have their government-issued ID on them at ALL TIMES in case of a player protest or full team roster check.

ALL PLAYERS must have their correct uniform jersey for these divisions. Matching or extremely similar, with non-duplicating uniform numbers.

ALL PERSONS must have a ticket for each day. Please do not try and handle this at the ballpark. You want to purchase these on the Space Coast stadium website at: www.usssaspacecoast.com so you can scan it and keep the line moving.

YOU MUST be ready to play 30 minutes before scheduled game time. 30 minutes prior is forfeit time except for the first game of the day which is game time. This is why you need to purchase tickets in advance.

The rules of game play are USSSA book rules, and are highlighted in the manager notes for anyone who wants to check them over. There is NO mandatory runner for the pitcher in USSSA outside of the Conference.

We are testing and stickering all bats prior to the start of games. Any/all teams can check in bats tomorrow night at the Stadium from 5pm to 7pm. You can do one test tomorrow and bring the rest on Thursday.

Teams can test up to 25 bats, or pass a total of 20 bats. We will not be testing bats individually, the team representatives bring the bats at one time. We will log the numbers internally. Only one testing group tomorrow per team. Do not send people at different times.

Players need to strip stickers off the bats. If someone has 1 or 2 league night stickers on there we will work with you but you can not have a whole bunch of old stickers on the bat.

Each field will have a field bucket and bats must be put next to the bucket to start each game. The umpires will check the stickers and place them in the bucket.

Schedule for bat testing on Thursday is below. If you come earlier that is fine but you will have to let teams go in front of you who are there in their scheduled time.

9am start time. 730 to 830 am

1015 start time. 830 am to 930 am

1130 start time. 930 am to 1030 am

1245 start time. 1045 pm to 1145 am

2pm start time. 1145 pm to 1245 pm

315 start time. 1 pm to 2 pm

430 start time. 2 pm to 3 pm

545 start time. 315 pm to 415 pm

7pm start time 430 pm to 530 pm

815 start time 6pm to 7pm

Later in the tournament we will do a re-test and teams will then have their own bucket with us holding the buckets.

Thank you and wishing you safe travel to the Space Coast area and Brevard County.

Early Manager Notes

Managers,

Wanted to reach out with some early notes for next week's E World Tournament.

The brackets are not ready yet. Please hold off contacting our staff at present time asking for game times. We are running the Men's Major and Men's C, Women's C and D here in Viera and we have had some weather issues here. We will try and post them as soon as we can. It will probably be over the weekend.

BP rentals for Wednesday are on the Complex website at:
Usssaspacecoast.com under Ticketing.

Teams need to have all players eligible on their roster. No players who played for a Men's D team here in Viera at D Worlds, can be moved to a Men's E team.

Uniform jerseys are required with non-duplicating numbers.

Manager Zoom will be held on Monday night. Must have one member of the team on the call.

Tournament Start/End Time

Teams in this division need to be ready to play on Thursday morning at 8:00 AM EST.

No special later start times can be accomodated.

The tournament will likely finish early Sunday afternoon depending on final numbers and any weather items that arise.

August 17, 2025 - 05:30pm

Special Roster Note

Please note that players who participated in the Men's D World Tournament will not be eligible to be moved to your team's roster for the Men's E World Tournament.

The only exception would be if your Men's E team plays up in the Men's D World as a Men's E team.

Any other exceptions would need to be sent by the State Director to the National Slow-Pitch Committee and there would need to be a legitimate reason to be looked at.
