Manager Event Check-in: Check in areas will be the location of your first game which will be the Stadium Concourse, White Quad, or Red Quad (see map of complex above). We will have a director in each area 90 minutes prior to the first game of the day.

Roster Change Deadline: Before end of day Sunday, 2/18/24. Emergencies do happen, so we’ll address them on a case by case basis. Once the event starts, no roster changes will be allowed.

Player Protest: We will not stop the game for player protests. A player protest requires a $100 fee for each player protested. You are allowed to protest a player’s identity or a player not listed on the online roster. If you win the protest, you will get your $100 back. If a player is listed on the roster, assume they have been approved. Please see how PENDING players will be addressed below.

Players must be listed on your ELIGIBLE roster tab. PENDING players are not eligible to play until they complete the player eligibility process which includes signing the online waiver and approving the roster invite. If you have players experiencing issues with the eligibility process, please work with your State Director to get it sorted out. Please have the player contact [email protected] if they can’t reach their State Director. If a player is caught on the field and is listed as PENDING on the online roster, the player will be removed from the game until the process has been completed.

Players not listed on the online roster (ELIGIBLE or PENDING) will be ejected from the event, with a possible one-year suspension for the player and manager, and the team will be disqualified. Managers are responsible for making sure their online roster is 100% accurate and eligible.

We can assist players with this process at the complex but we will require the player to arrive 90 minutes prior to their first game. Please don’t wait until day of the event to get your player eligibility issues resolved.

Team Jumping:  Players are only allowed to play on ONE team in the event regardless of different age groups. Managers, please notify your players. Penalty will be player ejection from the event and the team will forfeit the game. We must catch the player on the field to enforce the penalty.

Playing Rules: CLICK HERE

NOTE - COMP will follow MAJOR PLUS playing rules. REC will follow AAA playing rules.

Rule Interpretation Protest: Please ask the umpire to contact the UIC. Please read our playing rules above prior to your first game to avoid unnecessary delays.

Format: Two seeding POOL games then a double elimination playoff.

Coin Flip: There will be a double coin flip to determine HOME team for all POOL & PLAYOFFS games. Championship Game ONLY: The undefeated team has the choice of home or visitor.

REGULATION TIME LIMITS:

SEEDING GAMES – 65 MINUTES THEN OPEN INNING (MERCY RULE APPLIES)

PLAYOFF GAMES – 70 MINUTES THEN OPEN INNING (MERCY RULE APPLIES)

CHAMPIONSHIP & IF GAMES – NO TIME LIMIT (MERCY RULE APPLIES)

Game Time: We need your help keeping the event on time, so please let your players know this will be strictly enforced. First game of the day, game time is forfeit time so the team must be ready to play. All other games, teams are required to be ready to play 30 MINUTES PRIOR to a team’s scheduled start time to avoid a forfeit. If a game ends early, we will start the next game right away.

Weather/Injury Delays: If we run into weather or injury delays (2+ hours behind), we likely (worst case scenario) will be running games later through Friday and/or Saturday night as fields open up.

Bats:  Age groups 40+ and above may use any bat stamped 1.21 BPF/Senior, USSSA 220 or 240. Senior bat does not have to be USSSA stamped until they are available. However, it must be from a USSSA licensed SENIOR SOFTBALL BAT manufacturer (see list below).

The 35 age group ONLY will be allowed to use the USSSA 220 or 240 stamped bats (NO SENIOR BATS) including 40+ years old players on a 35 age group roster and 40+ age group teams participating in a 35 age group event.

Bats on the banned bat list will be considered illegal. Any player that steps into the batter's box with an illegal bat will be ejected from the game and the batter will be called out.

Bat Testing: We will test all 240 & 220 stamped bats for the 35+ classes ONLY. They must meet 220 compression standards. Passed bats will be stickered and failed bats returned. Umpires will verify stickered bats before placing them in the field bucket. Any 35+ player that steps in the batter’s box with an unstickered bat will be DQ'd from the event.
