Mixed CC - Player Notes
Players / Managers,
We are looking forward to a great weekend!
I wanted to reach out and be sure that everyone had the right information, we have had our manager call and followed up with them but I know sometimes things do not get relayed.
Every person needs a ticket for admission each day. They must be purchased on Usssaspacecoast.com under ticketing.
The gates open tomorrow at 12pm. The two quads are available if people want to hit. You must have a wristband (ticket) but it's the same as what you need for the evening.
Every player must be in uniform. You can wear pants or shorts matching base color. Not everyone must choose pants or shorts, some can be in one or the other.
** Every player must have their government issued ID on them at all times in case of a player protest. No excuses will be accepted such as "I didn't bring it" or "its back at the hotel" or "I don't have one." **
All book rules for Mixed are in effect.
Teams MUST test bats as a team. No individual players will be tested unless late arrival. The Mixed C & D teams test at White Quad and Mixed E at Red Quad. You only need 2 or 3 people to bring bats. There is no "player check in."
Must be USSSA 240 stamped bats.
Thank you & good luck !!
International CC - Notes from Mgr Call
Managers,
Sending a recap of some of the high points of the call tonight
Thursday: no games, but teams can hit on the fields from 12pm - 4pm First come first serve and must pay the gate fee to enter
Stadium also has a bat manufacturer demo from 5pm - 7pm no charge
Bat testing Friday
You can test up to 25 bats, to pass a max of 20 bats
Must be USSSA 240 thumbprint bats or no good
This division will have bats in the bucket throughout
Pool play:
Umpires will announce 60 minutes, finish the inning plus one more
All games have a run cap per inning of 6 runs up until the last inning which is an Open inning (score as many as you can get)
In games with Comp vs Rec
The Rec teams will have choice of an equalizer - either 5 runs - one per inning - or an 11th defender
If you take the runs as a Rec team then you can score 5 for a total of 6 for the inning
The Comp team has the ability to score 6 to match
If it's Rec vs Rec there is no equalizer but it's a 6 run max per inning
If you have any questions please respond to my email or see me at the field

Mixed Manager Communication
COED Managers,
We wanted to reach out to everyone and give an update on the Mixed (COED) Challenge Cup:
First of all, we want to congratulate each of you who has been selected to represent your State at the "Olympics" of softball.
We had a very strong Mixed Worlds just last month and I hope to build on that for this event!
We have a new website for CC which contains all the guidelines for COED Cup.
https://challengecup.usssa.com/mixed-cc/
Please be sure to go over these items, and be aware of the uniform policy.
We are using all the book rules for Mixed program. We are using 2023 PRV's. Players should reside in your state. You need USSSA new stamped bats (240).
**I am asking that all managers start to put their roster online.** This does not mean you can not make adds later. Players can then do their 2024 waiver and accept to the team online. If you require assistance, you can either contact your State Director or myself.
Also, the payment for the event should be loaded into your Shopping Cart in your Team Manager account.
We are looking at starting the COED event Thursday evening with a 5pm start. The event is a 4-game guarantee. I am intending to do the pool play games on Thursday evening. I *hope* to finish the COED on Saturday. Sunday morning is in play if we have weather concerns or if the numbers spike. Our "plan" is not to be playing on Sunday.
Remember that the International Challenge Cup is in the Complex on the same weekend and we are sharing the fields with these folks.
Below is a link to some hotel options. You are not required to use any of these, but they are a few options.

If you have any COED specific questions, please do not hesitate to respond to this email.
Thank you & wishing all of you, and your families, a wonderful Holiday!
