Conference USSSA Uniform Policy
CONFERENCE UNIFORM POLICY
All players on a team shall wear uniforms shirts identical in color, trim and style, and all players’ uniforms shall include minimal six-inch numbers on their backs.
The following is prohibited from being placed on a Conference USSSA team uniform:
- Any non-USSSA softball sanctioning association name and/or logo.
- Any sponsor and/or company not in good standing with USSSA.
The approved numbers are 00-09, 0-99. Duplicate numbers, alphabetical letters and/or roman numerals are not allowed.
All players on a team shall wear uniform pants/knickers identical in color, trim and style.
Any part of an undershirt exposed to view shall be of a uniform solid color for all players on a team.
No player whose uniform does not conform to that of their teammates shall be permitted to participate in a game.
Each team shall wear a distinctive uniform at all times, or that each team shall have two sets of uniforms. These two sets of uniforms should be of contrasting colors.
No player shall attach to their uniform tape or other material of a different color from their uniform.
All players on a team shall wear socks and belts identical in color, trim and style.
All players on a team shall wear hats identical in color, logos, trim and style. In the Women’s program, all players on a team may wear headwear, if worn it shall be identical in color. Bucket hats are not allowed.
If displaying the Conference USSSA Logo: Shall be displayed on the sleeve.
CUSSSA may provide that the uniforms of its member teams include the names of its players on their backs. Any name other than the last name of the player must be approved by CUSSSA. If adopted, all uniforms for a team must have the names of its players. Exception: Sponsorship, or common statement above or below number.
All players on a team shall have the complete shirt tucked into their pants. Half-tucked uniform shirts are prohibited. This means that the uniform shirt will be tucked in 360 degrees around the player’s body and will remain the same throughout the duration of the game.
Sponsors, Managers, and Coaches:
Sponsors: A Professional appearance with the option of full uniform; matching other staff.
Scorekeeper: A Professional appearance with the option of full uniform or shorts; matching other staff.
Managers/Coaches:
- Men’s – Must be in full uniform; may wear a team pullover or jacket, shorts are not permitted on the field of play; to include base coaching.
- Women’s – Option of full uniform or shorts; matching other coaches.
Non-conference teams participating in Conference USSSA events will be required to have matching uniform tops, although, if they wear hats, they must be worn forward and properly, unless wearing a mask. No bandanas or do-rags are allowed. All teams must wear pants.
There are no appeals on uniforms and all decisions about uniforms by the Tournament Director will be final.
Conference Membership Information
CONFERENCE USSSA INFORMATION NEW FOR 2024:- Conference Rosters will lock on March 1st.
- Non-CUSSSA teams will not be able to enter Conference Tournaments until after the Conference USSSA teams have submitted their schedule: March 15th.
- At certain events: 0-2 Bracket Play teams will be entered into a single elimination tournament.

2024 Conference USSSA Membership Information
Based on 32 Teams
$7,500 Membership Fee
Each Conference Team is eligible for:
- Entry fees for (8) Conference Tournaments – Your 8th event will be the CUSSSA Championships
- Each CUSSSA event after (8) will be $420.
- Conference Championships
- The Conference Championships will count towards your overall point total.
- This event will not replace other events points and will count as your 8th event.
- These points will be added to your final Conference Points Total
- The CUSSSA Championships cannot be traded for another event.
- Classification Determined by Conference Committee
- World Tournament participation:
- Conference AA teams receive a paid berth to the USSSA Men’s AA World Tournament
- Conference A teams receive a paid berth to the USSSA Men’s AA and A World Tournaments
- AA and A teams must play in their respective World Tournament to be eligible to participate in the Major World Series.
- Qualifying teams will also receive a paid berth to Men’s Major World Series
After completion of the last regular season CUSSSA Tournament, any team can play for the Conference Championships
- Participation in the CUSSSA Championships will give teams the opportunity to earn additional points toward seeding in the USSSA Men’s Major World Series
- Final seedings will be determined after the completion of the CUSSSA Championships
- If any teams are tied after the CUSSSA Championships, the tie breaker will go to higher classified team, then by higher power rating.
2024 Conference USSSA Alternate Men’s ‘B’ Membership Information
Based on 32 Teams
$5,000 Membership Fee
Each Conference Team is eligible for:
- Entry fees for (8) Conference Tournaments – Your 8th event will be the CUSSSA Championships
- Each CUSSSA event after (8) will be $420.
CUSSSA Championships
- The Conference Championships will count towards your overall point total.
- This event will not replace other events points and will count as your 8th event.
- These points will be added to your final Conference Points Total
- The CUSSSA Championships cannot be traded for another event.
- Classification Determined by Conference Committee
- World Tournament participation:
- Alternate Conference ‘B’ teams receive a paid berth to the USSSA Men’s AA, A and B World Tournaments
After completion of the last regular season CUSSSA Tournament, any team can play for the Conference Championships
- Alternate Men’s ‘B’ teams are not eligible to qualify for the Men’s Major World Series.
- Alternate Men’s ‘B’ teams are not eligible to qualify for the Lodging Funds.
2024 Conference USSSA Women’s Membership Information
Based on 24 Teams
$4,000 Membership Fee
Each Conference Team is eligible for:
- Entry fees for (8) Conference Tournaments – Your 8th event will be the CUSSSA Championships
- Each CUSSSA event after (8) will be $420.
CUSSSA Championships
- The Conference Championships will count towards your overall point total.
- This event will not replace other events points and will count as your 8th event.
- These points will be added to your final Conference Points Total
- The CUSSSA Championships cannot be traded for another event.
- Classification determined by Conference Committee
- World Tournament participation:
- Conference AA teams receive a paid berth to the USSSA Women’s AA World Tournament
- Conference A teams receive a paid berth to the USSSA Women’s AA and A World Tournaments
- Conference B teams receive a paid berth to the USSSA Women’s AA and B World Tournaments
- Teams must play in their respective World Tournament to be eligible to participate in the Major World Series.

- Classification Determined by Conference Committee.
- World Tournament participation:
- Alternate Conference ‘C’ teams receive a paid berth to the USSSA Women’s AA, C and B World Tournaments
- After completion of the last regular season CUSSSA Tournament, any team can play for the Conference Championships
- Alternate Women’s ‘C’ teams are not eligible to qualify for the Women’s Major World Series.
- Alternative Women’s ‘C’ teams are not eligible to qualify for Lodging Funds.
2024 Conference USSSA Lodging Funds at World Tournaments
At the completion of the CUSSSA Championships the top 18 men’s teams and top 16 women’s teams by conference points qualify for the Men’s and Women’s Major World Series in Viera, Florida at our Space Coast Complex. These qualified teams will receive lodging funds at their respective World Tournament.
All teams are REQUIRED to stay in Brevard County, Fl to receive funds back for lodging.

Reminders:
- Late removals (after your first offense) will be deducted at the amount of $420 per CUSSSA event from eligible funds received back at your respective World Tournament.
- All CUSSSA event entry invoices must be up to date and paid by the CUSSSA Championships in full to be eligible for World Tournament event entries and/or to be eligible for Lodging Funds received at your respective World Tournament (if qualified).
Men’s
Major World Series
- The Top 18 teams will receive $3,000.
Men’s AA World Tournament
- Conference teams placed in the Top 16 classified as ‘AA’ will receive $2,250.
Men’s A World Tournament
- Conference teams placed in the Top 20 classified as ‘A’ will receive $2,250.
Men’s B World Tournament
- Conference Teams placed in the Top 24 classified as ‘B’ will receive $2,250.
Women’s
Major World Series
- The Top 16 teams will receive $1,200.
- The highest finishing team for Women’s AA, A, and B will receive $1,000 at their respective World Tournament
